Email Authentication

SPF/DKIM/DMARC

These three mechanisms are used to identify and verify email sources. Sender Policy Framework (SPF) and DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) validate where the email originates for your domain, andDomain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance (DMARC) is utilized to report and make recommendations to receivers for email that fails the verification processes.

The proper utilization of these mechanisms increase the deliverability and trustworthiness of your outbound email. Internal rules can also be used to identify spoofing attacks that attempt to “mimic” emails that fail SPF or DKIM alignment, adding a layer of security against spoof attacks.

Infosoda will propose a one time charge to properly set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Correct implementation typically takes 1-2 months of monitoring, to correctly make adjustments to these records.
